The French online course began with a test to identify my weaknesses in grammar and to set my objectives. Starting on the B2 level, I needed to work on correctly using prepositions, pronouns, adjectives, and subjonctif in daily communication. I also needed to improve my pronunciation. During the first 20 minutes, while I spoke freely, Laure would provide me with unfamiliar words and expressions and carefully note everything. For the next 10 minutes, we repeated the vocabulary I studied as homework from the last session. The remaining 30 minutes were used to explain the grammar rules, do the grammar exercises, and read the dialogues from advanced communication. After working with Laure for a year, I expanded my vocabulary across a range of topics and learned common expressions, which helped me gain confidence and fluency in my speech. I also read and write with more ease. Laure is an attentive patient teacher who has motivated me to continue advancing. Laure provided me with all materials, including grammar rules, exercises, and advanced texts on subjects of my choice. It was a real pleasure to work with her.
