DELF B2 Preparation – Confidently Reach B2 Level
Our online DELF B2 preparation courses are designed for learners who want to achieve a high level of independence and precision in French.
At B2 level, candidates are expected to communicate fluently, argue their point of view, and handle complex topics in both written and spoken French.
DELF B2 confirms that you can function confidently in academic, professional, and formal contexts, and it is often a requirement for university studies, professional integration, or citizenship procedures.
This level represents a major step forward from B1, as it requires not only accuracy, but also coherence, nuance, and autonomy.
Our DELF B2 preparation courses offer a structured and effective pathway to help you meet these higher expectations with confidence.
We prepare adult learners and teenagers who already have a solid B1 level and are ready to refine their language skills in order to succeed at the B2 exam.
All lessons are delivered online via Zoom, Teams, or your preferred platform, ensuring flexibility and personalised support.

Thanks to this experience, she quickly identifies typical B2 difficulties — such as structuring arguments, expressing ideas fluently, or writing clearly organised texts — and works on them in a practical and efficient way.
Throughout your DELF B2 preparation, you benefit from clear explanations, precise corrections, and concrete exam strategies, with strong emphasis on speaking practice and confidence building.

DELF B2 Preparation – Develop Advanced Exam Skills
Our DELF B2 preparation courses support learners in mastering the exam format while strengthening the language skills required at an independent-user level. The DELF B2 exam evaluates four core competencies: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Preparation focuses on each skill through in-depth practice and exam-oriented techniques:
- Listening comprehension: Train with interviews, debates, reports, and radio extracts to understand main ideas, details, and implied meaning.
- Reading comprehension: Analyse longer and more complex texts such as articles, opinion pieces, and reports to develop critical reading and argument recognition.
- Writing skills: Learn to structure clear and coherent texts such as formal emails, essays, and argumentative pieces, with personalised feedback to refine grammar, style, and vocabulary.
- Speaking practice: Participate in structured discussions, opinion exchanges, and presentations to improve fluency, pronunciation, and the ability to defend a point of view.
- Exam techniques: Learn how to interpret instructions, organise responses, manage time, and practise under exam-like conditions.
- Individual feedback: Benefit from targeted corrections and guidance focused on strengthening weaker areas and consolidating advanced skills.
This comprehensive approach ensures learners are fully prepared for the DELF B2 exam and confident in demonstrating their language abilities on exam day.
DELF B2 Preparation - Our Approach
Our DELF B2 preparation is fully personalised and based on a detailed analysis of your strengths and areas to improve. Working one-to-one means we can concentrate on the exact skills assessed at B2 level, such as organising ideas clearly, defending an opinion, and using precise, accurate language in both speaking and writing.
Through our DELF B2 preparation, you will work on how to:
- structure and defend arguments in oral presentations and written texts
- understand authentic written documents, such as articles and opinion pieces
- follow extended audio recordings, including interviews, debates, and reports
- use advanced grammar correctly, including complex sentence structures and connectors
- develop precise vocabulary linked to abstract, academic, and professional topics
- speak more fluently and confidently, with clear organisation and natural expression
- meet the official DELF B2 exam criteria for all four skills
At this level, learners move beyond simply communicating correctly and begin to express ideas with precision, nuance, and autonomy, which is essential for success at DELF B2.
DELF B2 Preparation – A Structured Approach to the Exam
Our DELF B2 preparation follows a clear, structured, and progressive approach, designed to help you meet the specific demands of the B2 exam.
Each programme includes:
- a customised study plan, defined after an initial assessment and adjusted to your level, goals, and exam deadline
- DELF B2 preparation materials created specifically to match exam formats and topics
- regular practice with authentic exam-style tasks, including writing and speaking activities
- step-by-step work on listening, reading, writing, and speaking, with strong emphasis on oral expression
- clear and practical grammar explanations, focusing on structures required at B2 level
Homework is an essential part of the DELF B2 preparation process. You receive targeted assignments to:
- reinforce advanced grammar (subjunctive, hypothesis, connectors, complex sentence structures)
- expand topic-specific vocabulary commonly used at B2 level
- practise written and oral comprehension with authentic documents
- produce structured written texts and oral arguments, similar to exam tasks
All homework is corrected in detail, with personalised feedback, ensuring steady, measurable progress and helping you apply corrections directly in your speaking and writing.
DELF B2 Preparation - Is DELF B2 the Right Level for You?
If you are unsure whether you are ready to begin DELF B2 preparation, we offer an initial assessment lesson. During this session, we evaluate your oral expression, listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and written skills.
Based on this analysis, you receive honest and realistic feedback, allowing us to confirm whether DELF B2 preparation is appropriate now, or whether further consolidation at B1 level is recommended before moving forward.
DELF B2 Courses – Turning Exam Skills into Real-World Communication
One of the main strengths of our DELF B2 courses is the emphasis on applying exam skills to practical, real-life situations. At this level, learners are expected to defend opinions, structure arguments, and communicate clearly and spontaneously. These abilities are practised in contexts that mirror professional, academic, and social environments, including:
- Professional settings: Leading or participating in meetings, presenting ideas, or discussing projects in a workplace context.
- Academic situations: Engaging in seminar discussions, writing essays or reports, and analysing academic texts.
- Social and cultural contexts: Expressing opinions in debates, informal discussions, or community events, and understanding authentic media like news articles or podcasts.
- Practical communication: Making presentations, giving reasoned advice, or negotiating solutions effectively in French.
This approach ensures that DELF B2 preparation goes beyond the exam itself, helping learners develop high-level, usable French skills for everyday, academic, and professional situations.
DELF B2 Courses – Advanced French for Work, Study, and Citizenship
DELF B2 is often required by learners who need officially recognised proof of advanced French proficiency for professional, academic, or immigration purposes. The diploma is widely accepted in various contexts:
- France: From 2026, DELF B2 will be mandatory for French naturalisation. It is also recognised by universities and employers for academic and professional admission.
- Switzerland: While the FIDE test can meet some residency requirements, DELF B2 shows a higher level of competence, highly valued in professional and administrative contexts.
- Canada and other French-speaking regions: DELF B2 is internationally recognised, supporting immigration applications, academic study, and career advancement.
Our DELF B2 courses go beyond exam preparation—they help learners develop the language skills needed for:
- Long-term integration into French-speaking communities.
- Professional success by enabling clear communication, structured arguments, and confident participation in workplace settings.
- Academic and social confidence through effective comprehension, writing, and speaking skills.
DELF B2 Preparation – From Proficiency to Fluency
Successfully completing DELF B2 demonstrates strong independence in French and opens doors to academic, professional, and civic opportunities that require advanced language skills.
It also provides a stepping stone to C1, where learners are expected to navigate nuanced language, abstract ideas, and near-native communication with confidence. A structured DELF B2 preparation helps students consolidate advanced skills, increase fluency, and build the competence needed not only to excel in the exam but also to progress seamlessly toward higher-level mastery of French.
